Great Grass was set up in 2002 and provides specialist lawn services to homeowners throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk. The company is based near Fakenham.

The Great Grass team are advised and trained by experienced horticultural advisers and are managed by Lucy Jupe from the office in North Norfolk.

 

The team all have the necessary spray certificates to enable them to apply the most effective modern herbicides and pesticides. These products are widely used by professional qualified groundsmen and sports turf managers and not available on the gardening market. Lucy Jupe 

 

Runs the organisation of the company from the office at Great Snoring. Lucy is the main point of telephone and email contact.

Lucy has a number of years of experience advising clients about lawn problems and solutions and has been known to help clear up scarification residue when its "all hands on deck"!

Having run her own Montessori Nursery School she feel well qualified to deal with the male members of staff!

 

     

 

Neil Yarham

Neil  is fully NPTC qualified and has treated and advised on many hundreds of lawns all over Norfolk and Suffolk in his time with Great Grass. Neil is a keen cricketer hence has a natural interest in all things turf, he will advise you on all aspects of your lawn.

 

     
Lee Gordon

Lee joined Great Grass in 2009 and is already fully NPTC qualified. He has  treated hundreds of lawns in his time with Great Grass and will quickly identify any problems in your lawn. Lee brings a good deal of all round practical ability gained from his previous experiences in agriculture.

 

 

     
Simon James

Simon started working with Great Grass in autumn 2009. He is fully NPTC qualified and has previous experience in the Services and the horticultural business.

 

 

 

 

 

     
Nigel Jupe

Having studied at Bristol University and Royal Agricultural College Nigel followed a management career in various organisations in the Agricultural and Horticultural industries.

Nigel fulfils a training and advisory role within the business.

 

   

 

     
Alan Barson

Alan went on to study turf care at Askam Bryan College before becoming a lecturer in Turf and Machinery at Norfolk’s College of Agriculture and Horticulture. 

Since then he has been practising horticulture within adult education and other local training organisations as well as acting as trainer for Great Grass staff.
